For Presidential and Congressional candidates who refuse to provide voters with their positions, Vote Smart has researched their public records to determine their likely responses. These issue positions are from 2024.

  • "Abortion is when a baby gets the death penalty for someone else's actions." (twitter.com)

  • "Fun fact: Abortion isn't health care, anymore than genital mutilation is "gender-affirming care." Both are an attack on children and on the traditional structure of the American family." (twitter.com)
  • "BREAKING: Biden is about to sign an Executive Order to circumvent the Supreme Court’s decision on Roe. Any president that doesn’t respect the rules and procedures of his own country needs to be removed from office without prejudice." (twitter.com)

  • "Social Security: Preserve and modernize a system of retirement security." (bradleysenate.com)

  • "A white cop knelt on George Floyd’s neck. He’s serving more than 20 years in prison. A black cop shot UNARMED Ashli Babbitt in the back. He’s dining out and receiving awards. Tell me again how nobody’s above the law." (twitter.com)
  • "Fun fact: George Floyd died from a drug overdose. The cop was just a side effect." (twitter.com)
  • "Tyre Nichols’ death really is the tragedy everyone pretended George Floyd’s death was." (twitter.com)
  • "Covidworld was a lie. January 6 was a lie. George Floyd was a lie. How much you wanna bet that the "Ukraine War" is, in many parts, a lie too?" (twitter.com)
  • "Supports all efforts and agencies tasked with protecting American citizens from threats known or unknown by nations known to import terrorism to the United States and nations that support terrorism." (bradleysenate.com)
  • "End the crippling inflation, working down the near 34 trillion and deficit and out of control spending with sound fiscal policies." (bradleysenate.com)
  • "Stop worrying about how Elon Musk is spending his money and worry about how Joe Biden is spending yours." (twitter.com)
  • "Author a bill to address homelessness and federal funds to guarantee working families a tiered approach: first, last month rent and security deposits with no credit check for affordable housing." (bradleysenate.com)
  • "While ILLEGALS are given the red carpet treatment with housing, free medical, and monthly checks, more AMERICANS and VETERANS become homeless EVERY DAY." (twitter.com)
  • "While illegals get free healthcare, free education, free housing, and free cell service… WE MUST PAY FOR EVERYTHING WE GET!" (twitter.com)
  • "Why can no one in the Biden administration tell us what their plan was/is for housing, feeding and caring for all these new unwanted illegals?" (twitter.com)
  • "End the crippling inflation, working down the near 34 trillion and deficit and out of control spending with sound fiscal policies." (bradleysenate.com)
  • "The Alzheimer’s patient in the White House is calling his created economy BIDENOMICS. Most honest thing he’s ever said. Because while the economy may look great on paper, it’s a far cry from the reality we Americans live with every day. Some FUN facts: Inflation hit a 40-year high, and even now is on the rise with a recession looming. Major American cities are experiencing massive store closings. Giant corporations are experiencing record layoffs and massive downsizing. Key Banking institutions have closed. Interest rates are through the roof. Crime is through the roof. Supply lines are strained. Infrastructure is failing. And we’re $31,000,000,000,000 in debt, all while paying for another neverending war. So yeah, "Bidenonmics" is the perfect name for what Americans are suffering from. But only a senile person would PROUDLY sign his name to what most would agree is the WORST ECONOMIC DISASTER in AMERICAN history. God bless America" (twitter.com)
  • "Until AMERICA addresses its Joe Biden problem, the "U" in USA stands for "UNSERIOUS." Patriots, we currently have a president who: Closed a pipeline. Opened our border. Skyrocketed inflation" (twitter.com)
  • "BREAKING: The Supreme Court has ruled 6-3 that Joe Biden CANNOT, without a congressional vote, cancel student loan debt. This is yet ANOTHER VICTORY for common sense Conservatives, but again not one brought to us by our own party. The Supreme Court currently stands as the one institution that HAS NOT been compromised by the Democrats, and we must thank Donald Trump for putting on 3 justices before they ran him out of office. God bless America" (twitter.com)
  • "Biden’s Department of Education just announced today that it "will be canceling the debt of 804,000 Federal student loans borrowers. This is called "BUYING VOTES." But it is also called ILLEGAL. Because the Supreme Court said so, but why respect that, right Joe?And if the past 2 years of Joe Biden have taught us anything, it’s that the forgiven borrowers will be chosen along RACIST and SEXIST lines. Which means they’ll be predominantly FEMALE and NOT WHITE. The Constitution says only the House has the power of the purse. But Biden thinks he’s bigger than the founding fathers and their documents. Biden thinks he’s BIGGER a than the American people and their pesky LAWS. And this is why… HE MUST BE REMOVED. Because he’s basically saying FUCK YOU to all the rules this country was founded on, and that sends a bad message to any president going forward. That message is: When you’re president, you can do whatever you damn well please and get away with it. Unless you’re a Republican. And THATS the end of our Constitutional Republic. God bless America" (twitter.com)

  • "Short-term, modern ecological safe oil exploration and drilling to support national independence." (bradleysenate.com)
  • "As a dedicated public servant, I firmly advocate for a healthcare system rooted in free-market principles, ensuring greater choice and flexibility for our citizens. My vision encompasses a reformed healthcare landscape, expedited FDA procedures, and strategic price regulations on pharmaceuticals to make healthcare more affordable for all." (bradleysenate.com)

  • "Reform the broken system and remove excessive red tape and departments. Increase the budget and put the money into increasing benefits and lowering deductibles." (bradleysenate.com)
  • "When I think how Biden could have used that $100 BILLION he gave to Zelensky to make healthcare more affordable for Americans, I just get angry all over again" (twitter.com)

  • "Border Security: Supports all efforts and agencies tasked with protecting American citizens from threats known or unknown by nations known to import terrorism to the United States and nations that support terrorism." (bradleysenate.com)
  • "Again I’m not a TRUMPER, but just based on facts I have way more problems with what Biden is doing/has done, than anything Trump is being accused of. Because Trump’s "crimes"don’t affect or impact my life AT ALL. Biden’s crimes on the other hand? My border protection is gone." (twitter.com)
  • "Garland, Mayorkas, Blinken, and Eric Adams are heading to Mexico, Ecuador and Colombia to discuss the problem of the border. Why? The problem didn’t start in any of those countries. The problem started in Washington DC on January 21, 2021 - when Joe Biden DELIBERATELY stopped construction on our border wall. Doesn’t take a fact-finding mission. Doesn’t take a multimillion dollar report from "experts." Doesn’t take a "conversation between leaders." It’s OBVIOUS why America has 18-40,000,000 more illegals than we had when Donald Trump was president: Trump built the wall. Biden took it down." (twitter.com)
  • "I am not a "TRUMPER." But I will vote for Trump in 2024 because: He doesn’t support the endless Ukrainian war. He doesn’t support endless payments to Zelensky for a war no one has actually seen. He talks about saving America, AND HE MEANS IT. He will close our border and deport illegals." (twitter.com)
  • "How do illegal immigrants make us stronger when they’re a constant and complete drain on our education, healthcare and welfare systems?" (twitter.com)

  • "Under the US Constitution, Greg Abbott COULD HAVE declared an "INVASION" 2 years ago, and then begin using state personnel to deport migrants. He didn’t. So here we are, 20 hours away from the full and complete opening of our most dangerous border and… WE’RE JUST LETTING IT HAPPEN. Tucker says this is all In service of changing the voter demographics to permanently Democrat, but anyone can see that drastically changing the racial makeup of this country is a bipartisan plan. NOTHING ELSE EXPLAINS WHY THE REPUBLICANS DIDN’T AND AREN’T FIGHTING IT. So I’m tired of tweeting about it. When those floodgates open tonight, the America we love is dead. Because next comes CITIZENSHIP for illegals not trained in our civics. Illegals not trained in our LANGUAGE. Illegals who will be herded into voting Democrat. AND THAT MEANS GOODBYE DEMOCRACY, HELLO ONE-PARTY STATE! So if you’re a Republican who let Joe Biden do whatever he wanted while you pretended to fight him on Twitter… Cry havoc, and let slip the dogs of war. God Bless America" (twitter.com)
  • Despite exhaustive research, Vote Smart was unable to find information about this candidate's position.
  • "Not that anybody asked, but I’d rather have my tax dollars go to Maui, than to Ukraine." (twitter.com)
  • "What’s happening in Israel and Gaza makes me wonder if all those weapons and dollars really made it to Ukraine or not." (twitter.com)
  • "As predicted, McCarthy pulled it off at the last minute……but not without making a sneaky side deal with the Democrats to give more money to Ukraine. This "Republican" Speaker is a joke. But at this point, the whole Ukraine thing is a joke - and the joke is on US, the American people. Because anyone with common sense can see that all these massive payments can’t possibly be going to a war that is NEVER even covered in the news. And anyone with common sense can see that almost 2 years later, one or the other country should have won by now. And anyone with common sense can see that we’re well past the point where we should have negotiated a peace. I’m calling bullsh*t on the whole thing. I demand accountability and accounting for the $200,000,000,000 AND COUNTING that we’ve allegedly sent to Ukraine. Because at this point it’s just not adding up. God bless America" (twitter.com)
  • "Lindsey Graham: "The key to the next Ukraine funding deal is to address our broken border." Seriously? The defense of our country depends on giving Ukraine more money? This guy needs to go! Analysts have said that since February, we are spending $233,000,000/day on that country. Imagine the good that money could have done in THIS COUNTRY.Lindsey Graham is a disgrace to the Republican Party. Because a real Republican would be calling for an end to the violence. A real Republican would be calling for Putin and Zelensky to come to the table. A real Republican would be calling for PEACE. Obviously this "war" can only be ended with regime change: Not Putin, Biden. So I’m calling for just that. End and audit the Ukraine war. Close our border. Make America A PRIORITY again. God save America" (twitter.com)

This candidate has responded to a Political Courage Test in a previous election. As a continued effort to provide the American public with factual information on candidates running for public office, these archived responses are made available here.
Pro-life Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
No In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
Yes Do you support expanding federal funding to support entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare?
We must care for the treasures of America. Social Security and Medicare needs revamping and additional funds to increase the quality of care and services for our elderly. The common myths of these programs are that they are socialist programs however that is not accurate in the least. These are entitlement programs similar to veteran benefits through the VA. Many developed countries have a partially or fully publicly funded health care system like Medicare.
Yes Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
This has been one of the most contentious issues for candidates running for office. Corporations and unions have put their thumb on the scales in the elections making it virtually impossible for grassroots candidates to effectively campaign against opponents that have received indirect campaign contributions for these entities.
Yes Do you support the protection of government officials, including law enforcement officers, from personal liability in civil lawsuits concerning alleged misconduct?
The crime rate has escalated to record high rates in the last year. With the "defund the police" and re allocation of funds from law enforcement to social and community-based programs, we have seen a high attrition rate and low retention rate of law enforcement personnel. We to correct this trend it seems fitting to provide protections for those for civil suits however for those alleged of criminal offenses, they must be held to account.
Yes Do you support increasing defense spending?
"Peace thru strength" Ronald Reagan. Being a veteran, I know the importance training, equipment, advanced systems for mission readiness. During my time in service, we were impeded by budget reductions using aged equipment that we scheduled to be decommissioned. This had a direct effect on our ability to carry out our ability to conduct Search and Rescue missions which meant potential loss of life.
Yes Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes Do you support lowering corporate taxes as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes Do you support providing financial relief to businesses AND/OR corporations negatively impacted by the state of national emergency for COVID-19?
We also need to investigate those that received financial relief that are questionable. I have heard that this was an open door to fraud.
No Do you support requiring states to adopt federal education standards?
Common core has proven to lower the standards and quality of education. I strongly believe the money should follow the child with school vouchers allowing parents to choose the schooling and quality of their children's education.
No Do you support government funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, geo-thermal)?
No Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
Partially, US standards exceed the world standards currently. US companies in the private sector have lead innovation, and new technologies addressing greenhouse gas emissions. We need new methodologies to measure the impact of GGS.
No Do you generally support gun-control legislation?
But currently gun-control legislation is at historic levels violating the 2nd A and citizen's right to bear arms.
Yes Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare")?
No Do you support requiring businesses to provide paid medical leave during public health crises, such as COVID-19?
This was beyond their control.
Yes Do you support the construction of a wall along the Mexican border?
No Do you support requiring immigrants who are unlawfully present to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
Those seeking political asylum obviously would face certain death if we required them to return to their country of origin.
Yes Should the United States use military force to prevent governments hostile to the U.S. from possessing a weapon of mass destruction (for example: nuclear, biological, chemical)?
Yes Do you support reducing military intervention in Middle East conflicts?
Yes Do you generally support removing barriers to international trade (for example: tariffs, quotas, etc.)?
"Leveling the playing field" is the term we use in international relations. There are situations with unfriendly or unfair trade practicing countries we need to apply these measures but in general free trade is often desired in this industry.
Homeless program funding for comprehensive (intake to self-sustaining) community-based programs with full transparent accounting Economic stimulus incentive funding for businesses recovering from the Covid shutdowns Law enforcement funding to offset state "defund the police" measure to keep forces at optimum training and operations
